CALEA: Are you Compliant???

True Story:

This summer on one of our Air2Data properties the FBI showed up and told the management that they had a user on the guest network that was engaging in illegal actives. The property was told that a $10,000.00 fine could be imposed if they were not CALEA compliant. The management called Air2Data in a panic. We let the property know that their facility was CALEA compliant.

The FBI logged into our gateway and retrieved the information they needed and arrested the person that was in question. On their way out the door the FBI agent said thanks for their cooperation. Needless to say the property breathed a sigh of relief.
